Alex founded Fircrest Partners in 2021. He has spent his whole professional career investing in and advising small and medium size companies in various geographies.
In 2018, Alex joined TR Capital Group, a Hong Kong headquartered asset management firm with over US$1.2 billion in assets, to establish and manage a highly concentrated long-only listed equity fund focused on small-to-mid cap companies and adopting a long-term approach.
Prior to that, Alex was part of the Global Investment team supporting the overseas acquisitions of a large conglomerate. He started his career on the M&A team of an Asia based regional investment bank advising clients on cross-border M&A transactions.
Alex holds an MBA from The University of Hong Kong in partnership with Columbia Business School and graduated with Distinction from McGill University with a BCom in Finance.
